Feeling cheerful and bright! Christina Hall (née Haack) has given a glimpse into her Christmas celebrations with son Hudson after resolving her messy custody battle with ex-husband Ant Anstead. The Flip or Flop alum, 39, shared an Instagram Story photo on Saturday, Dec. 24 of Hudson, 3, posing with older brothers Taylor, 12, and Brayden, 7, on Christmas Eve. The three brothers – who Hall co-parents Anstead, 43, and Tarek El Moussa, respectively – were all smiles pictured with their maternal grandparents. Hall – who married Joshua Hall earlier this year – shared more photos of the family reunion, including Taylor eating Santa’s cookies. “I can’t believe you still eat Santa’s cookies,” the Christina in the Country personality joked to her only daughter in a Saturday video. After Taylor’s siblings got jealous of her extra snack, the pre-teen responded that it’s “my tradition.” Hudson’s appearance at Saturday’s festivities comes weeks after Christina and Anstead resolved their heated custody battle. The Christina on the Coast star welcomed Hudson with the UK native in September 2019, less than a year after their wedding. The duo called it quits in September 2020 and finalized their divorce the following June. However, the pair continued to disagree over their child’s care. Anstead – who also shares Amelie, 18, and Archie, 16, with ex-wife Louise Anstead – filed for full custody of Hudson in April. At the time, the Wheeler Dealers alum accused Hall of only spending “nine full days a month” with the child for nearly two years. The HGTV star responded to Ant’s allegations in a statement to us. “What Ant is doing saddens me to the core,” she noted. “If this was really about Hudson, as he says, it should have been handled privately with a private judge or mediation, as my attorney and I suggested. I’ve had my share of ups and downs, but I’m a good mother and I love my kids with all my heart and I will always protect them.” A judge denied Ant’s custody request, but the former couple continued their legal battle until reaching a settlement in November. The California Superior Court in Orange County granted that Hall and the celebrity IOU: Joyride star “will continue to have joint legal and physical custody,” which they initially agreed to in June 2021. The decision allowed Hall to spend Thanksgiving from Thanksgiving and Christmas with Hudson during even years, with Ant in odd years. They will also rotate for Easter, 4th of July, and Halloween. Ahead of the holiday, the Christina in the Country personality and her ex-spouse shared festive snaps with their son. “Kid loves being behind the camera 📸… ❤️,” Hall captioned a Wednesday, Dec. 21 Instagram photo of her and husband Joshua Hall, whom she married earlier this year. Hudson had her back to the camera as she took a different photo of her mom and stepdad on a phone. Ant posted an equally sweet photo the same day of Hudson decorating a Christmas tree. “This is the season 🎄. Having grown up in the freezing UK I still find it amazing that a California Christmas tree complements a warm beach sunset! So cozy and festive temple, and Hudzo always the willing helper 🥰 x,” she wrote he via Instagram. The pair previously argued over posting pictures of their son, with Ant accusing Christina of “exploiting” Hudson for personal gain. She addressed the “confusion and misinformation” in a lengthy Instagram caption in November, arguing: “I CHOOSE and choose not to post Hudson because I was exhausted with Instagram being used as a tool against me.” Along with Hudson, the Wellness Remodel author is the mother of Taylor and son Brayden with El Moussa, 41. The Flip or Flop alumni were married from 2009 to 2018 and have worked hard to remain cordial with their children. El Moussa, who is currently expecting a child with wife Heather Rae El Moussa (née Young), previously reunited with Christina in 2019 for their daughter’s school holiday performance. “Tay’s Christmas performance was sooo cute!! glad my dad came too ♥️ We all sat together – my family and Tarek’s family,” the design guru captioned an Instagram photo at the time. “Some people have recognized how good this is – I know there are many divorced couples (including Tarek’s mom and dad) who do this too, and honestly, it’s easier on everyone. Also, Taylor’s face lights up when she sees us all on the same page supporting her.” Scroll below to see more photos from Christina’s Christmas party:
