Franco Harris’ Family Releases Statement After Hall of Famer’s Death

A day after the world learned of the death of Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Famer Franco Harris, his family is speaking out. Harris died aged 72. No cause of death was disclosed. He is survived by his wife, Dana Dokmanovich, and their son, Dok. “We are really heartbroken. The reality of losing such a magnificent individual has yet to set in. Harris’ death comes two days before the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception, the shocker move that helped transform the Steelers from losers to the NFL’s elite, and three days before Pittsburgh retired his number 32 during a ceremony at the halftime of their game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
