Jennifer Lopez treated fans to a new edition of her “On the JLo” newsletter on Monday, sharing details of her hummingbird-themed Christmas party with husband Ben Affleck and their children – for which she donned a colorful sequined Gucci dress that she “been waiting for”. for the perfect occasion to wear”—as well as some of her “favorite things” that are just as luxurious as you’d expect.

“If you need a great gift, they really work all year round for anyone or any special occasion,” she wrote of the pricey picks, which she gave away as Christmas gifts this season.

Among the items that earned JLo’s seal of approval? Le Labo scented candles—particularly Santal 26 ($82), which she buys in bulk. (As first reported by The Cut in 2019, Lopez orders 50 candles a month, but actually used to buy 100, and occasionally even 200 at a time. Talk about a burning passion.)

“This year, I gave this Le Labo Candle Discovery Set ($67) to a few people in my inner circle,” the superstar wrote in her newsletter. “I am absolutely obsessed when it comes to their Santal 26 scented candle. It is the signature scent in our house and this new set comes with three small candles, so you can discover which scent you love the most.”

Meanwhile, Lopez — who accessorized her striped blue-and-white Ralph Lauren gown with a custom-made Nick Fouquet fedora for her post-wedding brunch in August — called the celebrity hat maker’s creations her “latest fashion.”

“When you make hats for women you are called a hatter, when you make hats for men you are a haberdasher, when you make a hat that transcends gender and gives just the right amount of style for any fit you are Nick Fouquet . ”, she got emotional, calling her designs – most of which will cost four figures – “the perfect gift for someone who loves fashion”.

And Meghan Markle isn’t the only famous fan of the Hermès Avalon Blanket ($1,625); Lopez also included the whimsical throw in her gift guide, calling it “the closest thing” she could find to the “very itchy blanket” she loved as a kid.

In a 2020 Instagram photo shared by her ex Alex Rodriguez, Lopez relaxed on an Hermès blanket aboard a private jet.

“Growing up in New York when it was cold, there was something so comforting about that warm blanket against my skin,” she wrote. “Sometimes Ben and the kids make fun of me because I like the itchy feeling of wool on my skin, but it reminds me of my childhood.”

Praising Hermès’ $1,000 offering as “chic and a Bronx throwback at the same time,” she added, “It’ll keep you so warm!!! You will not regret! Then again, maybe it’s an acquired taste.

But not everything on Lopez’s gift list is going to blow your budget.
