“It was chaos. And when bodily fluids started pouring out, I thought, okay, that’s enough.”
Tensions rose when the women of “Teen Mom Family Reunion” got together to film the show’s second season – and Ashley Jones was at the center of much of the drama.
Heading into filming, many of Ashley’s co-stars were already upset with her after she apparently broke a pact they all made in which they agreed not to stalk each other on social media. Both Briana DeJesus and “Young & Pregnant” star Kiaya Elliott were clearly the most irritated before they started filming… and it wasn’t long before their frustrations boiled over when the cameras started rolling.
Adding to the drama even more: most of the Teen Moms’ moms joined them for the new season — and their bear claws showed.
TooFab caught up with Elliott, Catelynn Baltierra, Maci Bookout McKinney, and Jade Cline ahead of the season 2 premiere of “Family Reunion,” where they opened up about their issues with Ashley and whether they ever had a problem with delaying the end of the bargain when it comes down to it. to talk to your castmates online.
“I mean, it’s not hard for me not to go online and hit everyone. It’s not hard for me not to hit girls. I have so much going on in my life, the last thing on my mind is going online and being hateful to each other. others,” said Cline. “I don’t think this is something I’ve really done anyway, or really any of the girls here. I don’t feel like this is something in our character that we do normally. So, no, it’s definitely been “It’s not hard to keep that covenant. I think that pact was something that should be taken seriously, especially at our age.”
“I’m too grown up, I don’t have time for this!” exclaimed Baltierra. “I have three babies. I don’t have time for this.”
Maci, in turn, said that now that she has a son old enough to use social media, she has to be an example for him.
“My biggest thing, everyone kind of saw it last season of OG, with Bentley getting social media, I can’t expect him to behave accordingly if I’m doing stuff like that,” she explained. “It’s like – and I hate to say that cheesy line – but practice what you preach. If I don’t want my son to behave like this or someone to treat my son like this, I sure as hell am not going to do it. That would make no sense.

Elliott and Jones appeared on “Young & Pregnant” at the same time, before Jones jumped into “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter”. The latest “Family Reunion” is a first for Elliott, who was ready to confront Jones early on when it came to addressing the past social media drama.
“I think the end result I was hoping for wasn’t necessarily being friends with this person. I think I settled my determination a long time ago on what kind of person I think this person is and what I think about their character,” Kiaya told TooFab, no referring to Ashley by name. “So going into it, I wasn’t really looking for a solution because I kind of already knew what to expect.”
“I think it felt good to get that off my chest, if that makes sense. It was a lot of tension. You could literally cut the tension with a knife. And, for me, just holding all of that would have made my experience awkward and uncomfortable just because I feel that my actions would not be genuine,” she continued.
While viewers will have to see how the conversation – or confrontation – plays out, Elliott said he felt he accomplished what he set out to do. She added that having her mother by her side was also a huge help, as her mother is the more level-headed of the two.
“One point my mom made that made me leave this alone with them is that I can’t take offense at what this girl is saying about me or what she’s doing about me because the whole family dynamic is in chaos.” , she added. 🇧🇷
Of course, their argument isn’t the only chaotic moment of the season. The trailer (above) sparks a huge fight between Briana, her mother Roxy, and Ashley and her own mother Tea – a fight so bad that it apparently led to Ashley being disinvited from Cheyenne Floyd’s wedding. The footage looks pretty brutal, with Briana climbing furniture and security guards after Ashley allegedly spat in her face.
“It was chaos. And when bodily fluids started pouring out, I was like, okay, that’s enough,” Baltierra told TooFab. “We’re in a pandemic. You can transfer disease that way. Anyone spit at me, my fists are going to shake. I feel like someone spat, all your morals, values and ethics go out the window, like legitimately then.”
“It was intense, it was crazy, but also, that’s not the point of the show,” she added. “I don’t want everything to be focused on this big fight. There’s so much growth that happened after that and incredible moments, difficult moments… but it was crazy.”
While this trip may have had its drama, all the women seemed to be on board for another one. They’ve made it clear that they’d love to travel somewhere a little warmer, like Hawaii, next – and Kiaya is hoping to take the reins.
“Somewhere tropical and I want to plan,” she said of her hopes. “I think it would be fun for ‘Young + Pregnant’ to plan and take charge. Since I’m young, I want to show everyone that I can handle something that big and I can be mature. I think I should plan. 🇧🇷
